Mark Biersmith brings over two decades of professional experience to his current role as Chief Executive Officer and President of RoadMasters Holdings, LLC (a national transportation, logistics and construction concern with over six divisions). In addition, Mr. Biersmith runs a private practice in public accountancy with specialization in Mergers and Acquisitions (“M&A”) on a turnkey basis, Financings, Expert Witness testimony, and Company Valuations. Over the course of his career, Mr. Mark Biersmith has served as a partner in a private equity firm, performed 73 corporate acquisitions, closed over $3 billion in financings, team leader for two public offerings, and successfully won a bond rating agency appeal. Mark Biersmith also has SEC compliance experience including knowledge of SOX, XBRL, and IFRS. He was asked to write the “How To” book for the CPA profession on M&A transactions, asked by the Institute for Management Accountants to write/grade the national essay questions for the certification exams, and became a lead instructor for two CPA Review programs for CPA licensed candidates. Mr. Biersmith has recently received a Certificate of Educational Achievement in recognition for his knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) and has worked with International shareholders and/or companies from Israel, Australia, China, United Kingdom and Mexico.

Mr. Biersmith has seven intercompany promotions over his career including two to CEO. Most recently, he was promoted to the CEO and President of RoadMasters Holdings, LLC after serving as Chief Operating Officer of RoadMasters Holdings and President of its largest subsidiary.

Prior to his work at RoadMasters Holdings, LLC; Mr. Mark Biersmith served as President and Chief Executive officer for a national contracting company, where he was instrumental in increasing profit margins and identifying new revenue streams for the firm, resulting in profitable months on the very first full month of his tenure. Earlier in his career, Mark Biersmith was Chief Financial Officer of a financial services concern and later promoted to President of its insurance division. In this capacity, Biersmith optimized profitability while reorganizing the enterprise as a whole. An effective, results oriented leader, Mark Biersmith is capable of enacting dramatic changes on a national level and has turned around three entities. His work also includes three consolidation plays in three different industries i.e. music, manufacturing, and media.

Mr. Biersmith’s extensive education both academically and professionally may have been what gave him the competitive edge he needed to earn his many promotions. Professionally, Mr. Biersmith has worked with some of the best M&A professionals and institutions in the country including such renowned M&A artists/institutions as Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Wasserstein and Perrella, Jack Kent Cooke (LA Daily Times/Cooke Media/Washington Redskins), Fred Joseph (Drexel), KKR (Miami), John Malone (TCI), Prudential, and many others. His academic preparation includes a Masters Degree in Business Administration (“MBA”), Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) Texas license, Certified in International Financial Reporting Standards (“ICAEW” UK), Certified Management Accountant (“CMA”) certificate, a Certified Computer Professional (“CCP”) certificate, Chartered Global Management Accountant (“CGMA”), Certificate in International Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) by the AICPA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics from the prestigious program at Marquette University. Mr. Biersmith also received a research assistantship in the early days of electronic banking serving as the foundation for continued excellent relationships in the banking and institutional markets. He is also a current active member of the international CEO Club, recently spoke at the NYSE and Harvard Club turned down an invitation to be nominated as Deal Maker of the Year, and just nominated to the National Public Policy Committee.

Mark Biersmith currently resides in Southlake (Dallas Fort Worth Metropolis), Texas with his wife of many years, Sally, after raising their four children in University Park, Texas. Some personal notes of interest on Mr. Biersmith are: he is a former model for a national catalogue, a former guest actor for a national television series, a requested advisor for a United States Senate Committee, provided requested testimony to the City and County of Dallas on the Inland Port project, and asked to run for Dallas mayor by a major Texas law firm. In 2008, Mr. Biersmith was recognized by the Highland Park Independent School District for his contributions of time and effort for the District symbolized by a permanent plaque in his name at Highland Park High School. He and his wife are active members of St. Patrick’s Cathedral Catholic Church in Fort Worth, Texas after years as a lecture for the Catholic Campus Ministry services at SMU.
