Bio:

Mr. Mustafa joined the company in 2003. First as a corporate director on the board, and then six months later as the President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Mustafa was aggressively courted by the company's chairman, because of his very unique qualifications that include a great depth of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, finance, software design and engineering.

Over the last four years, Mr. Mustafa has immersed himself in the pharmaceutical industry. This has culminated with him leading the business and product development teams which are comprised of systems designers and engineers, systems manufactures, software developers, software systems integrators, data warehouse developers and engineers. During this period, in meeting with manufacturers, packaging suppliers, law enforcement officials, standards committees, solutions providers and integrators, Mr. Mustafa has been classified as being the expert in the industry. Mr. Mustafa has also been pivotal in the creation of strategic partnerships and alliances, including the long term relationship with Catalent Pharma Solutions, which resulted in the co-development of SSI's systems in a real-world environment. His experience with e-pedigree, unit-level serialization, track and trace technologies and processes, as well as his knowledge of secure data vault design and capabilities, that extend far beyond the companies anti-counterfeiting solutions, make him highly sought after. Mr. Mustafa has been a requested speaker at a number of industry and regulatory conferences, inclusive of being invited as a technology solution presenter at the California and Nevada Board of Pharmacy, among others state boards.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Mustafa had over 30 years of experience in the investment banking industry.  During this period, he served as head of corporate finance/credit at Connecticut Bank and Trust; head of planning and forecasting for mid-cap companies (Forplan) at Citibank Investment Bank; head of corporate finance origination at Citibank Investment Bank; head of global mergers & acquisitions at Citibank Investment Bank; managing director of mergers & acquisitions and merchant banking at PaineWebber; member of the Commitment Committee and managing director of PaineWebber's joint venture with Young & Rubicam; managing director and executive vice president of KSP, a $1 billion private leveraged-buyout Kluge fund; founder and chairman of Bluestone Capital Partners and Trade.com; and chairman of Wildwood Capital LLC.

Mr. Mustafa possesses a bachelor's degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a master's degree in finance from University of Connecticut.
