Bio:

H. Peter Tepperman is CEO of SEAGRAVE COATINGS CORPORATION. A. graduate of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 1965, with a B.S. in Economics, Cum Laude. He was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma, the honorary business fraternity.

Mr. Tepperman continued his education at Columbia Law School, and graduated Fordham Law School, evening division in 1969 with a LLB degree and he was elected as a member of the New Jersey Bar Association in the same year. At the age of 24, he started Chemray Coatings Company in New Jersey, renamed Seagrave Coatings Corporation.

Mr. Tepperman was President, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the N.Y. Metropolitan Paint Association and previously was Chairman of the New Jersey State Affairs Committee. He also was the first Chairman of the New Jersey Paint Council in the year of 1990. The New Jersey Paint Council’s mission is to influence state legislation and regulation that affect the paint and ink industry’s manufacturing facilities and their customer’s facilities within the state. He was Chairman of the Government Suppliers Committee of the National Paint and Coatings Association.

Mr. Tepperman is the founder and Executive Director of the Tepperman Foundation ultimately involved in creating philanthropic grants to promote education, medical research, the arts and public advocacy issues.

Mr. Tepperman has started the Cancer Rx Prize, venture philanthropy to accelerate research from the lab bench to patient bedside with a goal of making metastatic cancer a chronic disease.
