Mr. Meachin is a frequent speaker and forum participant on issues of investment banking, private equity and corporate governance. He has spoken at Harvard Business School, Dartmouth (Amos Tuck), Columbia University, Duke University (Fuqua Business School) and Georgetown University (McDonough School of Business), and in New York, Washington, London, Paris, Helsinki, Tokyo, Beijing, Rio de Janeiro, Johannesburg and Harare.
He has participated in the Directors' Education Institute Program on Corporate Governance at Duke University, the Directorship Corporate Governance Forum in Chicago, and the Montana State University Directors Conference as well as the FORTUNE Magazine Boardroom Forums and the Corporate Board Member Magazine and NYSE sponsored Annual Boardroom Summit Conference. He attended the Outstanding Directors Exchange (ODX) Corporate Governance Conferences in New York in March and November 2006. He is quoted in the Nov/Dec 2004 Edition of Corporate Board Member Magazine and his article entitled "Globalizing the Boardroom: The Case for a New Kind of Diversity" appeared in the September 2005 edition of Directorship Magazine. In February 2007 he led a Round Table Panel organized by Directorship Magazine on the Risks for Directors of doing Business Internationally.
