Bio:

Michael Daniec is the President and CEO of National Data Conversion (NDC). Daniec has over 30 years of dedicated experience in both technology consulting and management of computer-related business enterprises.

Under his leadership, NDC has played a pioneering role in the evolution of the tape restoration and data conversion sector, and he has grown the company to it current position as a nationally recognized leader.

Prior to establishing NDC in 1987, Michael spent five years managing other computer technology-related companies. He started his first company in 1982, selling custom programming solutions for business applications, addressing various business process automation and customer relationship management needs .

Prior to setting out on his own, Daniec worked as a Manager at Arthur Young (now Ernst & Young), leading the firm’s systems consulting group in servicing small- to medium-sized businesses in AY’s New York Metropolitan office. He began his career at Lewco Securities (a subsidiary of Lehman Brothers) where he served in a variety of technical positions and specialized in developing innovative software for low level control of tape drive operations, including data recovery, in support of the back office processing of brokerage transactions in the securities industry.

Daniec earned a BA from New York University with a double major in Computer Science and Russian Language.
